SiliCon is returning to the San Jose Doubletree. The Doubletree is offering standard rooms at all occupancy levels for $95/night. If you require a suite they are available for $240/ night. Any special room requirements such as handicap accessible rooms can be made directly with the hotel.

The Special Rate for SiliCon expires September 31st, so book early and often!

To Reserve A Room

Go to Doubletree Hotel San Jose and follow the instructions on the website. Convention rates are only available pre-con. Reserve your room now to be part of the convention room block. For those preferring to call in their reservations over the phone, mention event code "SILI" to get the convention room rate.

Party Rooms

Party rooms are assigned by the hotel liaison and the party maven: make your reservation with the hotel and then email either of us and we will get your room assigned for you. Check-in time is 3PM and check-out in noon.

Parking

The hotel charges for parking at a rate $18 to the general public. This year the convention discounted rate will be $8. The rules have changed slightly from last year: in and out privileges only apply to those staying at the hotel. If you are not a guest of the hotel, then there are no in and out privileges.

To get the convention parking rate you must get your ticket validated. The validation machine will be located at Convention Registration.

Payment can be made in three locations:

All machines will take credit cards, but only the machine at the convention center entrance will take cash.

Dining

The hotel offers three main dinner facilities: Sprigs, Sushi & Sake Bar, and Spencer's. Last year there was an issue with Sprigs not being open for dinner: this year Sprigs will be open for dinner Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Sushi & Sake Bar is located in the main lobby and will be open until 9PM Friday and Saturday night. If you would like a fine dinning experience Spencer's offers fabulous steaks chops and seafood. For the wine lover they have a wide selection to choose from. Be aware dress for Spencer's is semi formal.

The hotel also offers 24 hour room service and an espresso bar.

Internet

The hotel offers free WiFi in the function space. However, if you wish to use the internet service in your room there is a $9.95 fee per day. If you wish to check your email or basic internet you can go to the internet lounge on the second floor.

Pet Policy (Directly from Hotel)

Pets are permitted.

Registered guests are responsible for any damage caused by pets. Housekeeping personnel will inspect accommodations upon departure.

In consideration of other guests, we ask pet owners to ensure guest room noise levels are kept to a minimum. Refunds to guests inconvenienced by noisy pets (up to $100) will be charged to the registered pet owners.

Housekeepers are prohibited from entering rooms occupied by pets unless guests are present or unless pets are crated.
